Tips to choose your Wedding Colors
Get inspired by your Venue.
Example, a beach or outdoor venue sets the tone. Prioritize on finding your location first. Use the space to help you come up with your color scheme. The colors of your reception space and its surroundings, whether it's the vintage rugs or chandeliers or the view of the ocean, can spark an idea. And that way, you won't have to work against a clashing color palette. The colors should enhance what you love about your venue.
Set the tone.
Decide on the wedding style you are going for so it is easier to choose decor/ accents. Say- if you want a feminine and elegant look, Pink hues and White will make more sense than Black. Think of the colors that puts you in that mindset.
Look to what you Love.
Look at your home or a space that you have personally decorated and the pieces you chose. Whether it is Modern furniture or Vintage pieces, Boho or Rustic you will have an idea of the style you love.
Pick 2-3 Colors Max!
Keep the colors to a minimum of 2-3. Let's say Emerald & Nude. Consider adding a neutral color like White, Silver, Gold or Rose Gold part of the Color Palette for a lovely and elegant finish.
Matching or Contrasting Colors
Look at the pictures you have collected. Whether it is of Floral accents/ Bouquets, pictures of your wedding outfit and the statement jewelry. You can even consider the subtle patterns/ colors from your outfit. Find the colors you are naturally drawn to. The combination of the Matching or Contrasting Colors will do.
